H1N1
Well, it looks like the swine flu has hit our household! Ashlynn has been ill the last couple of days. I brought her to the doctor this afternoon since we're heading into a long weekend. She tested positive for Type A Infuenza. Since the flu season hasn't hit and H1N1 is type "A", they assume that's what it is. We had to contact the school to let them know. We also got the last two boxes of Tamiflu from the pharmacy. They were left over from the spring and hadn't start to stock up yet. Ash is only the 2nd case the doctor has seen. Great timing! She prescribed the Tamiflu because she's nervous about the baby. Extra prayers would be nice. We're sure all will be fine, but we definately don't want Edy to get a fever.

OUCH! So sorry. Do the rest of you have to stay at home? They used to quarantine the whole household when one member was sick with things like this. You will definitely be in our prayers.
Note: Somewhere the "powers that be" banned all pigs from their state fair because of "swine" flu. Another place built a barrier between pig exhibits and people to keep fair goers away from these dangerous animals! Crazy people. Ours are setting up a lot more hand sanitizing stations around the fairgrounds this year to protect people from other people.
